About this download
WaypointHR is provided under the GPL v3 open source licence. Anyone can use WaypointHR software free of charge, for whatever purpose.
Being open source you are also free to modify the source code or extend the functionality of WaypointHR if you wish, to suit your company requirements. (If you distribute or make available WaypointHR - or a derivative of it - you will need to do so under a GPL licence.)
Please be aware that to use WaypointHR, you will need to have a webserver (Apache), PHP (4 or 5) and MySQL. WaypointHR runs on both Windows and Linux.
Hosted Data version
WaypointHR is also available as a hosted data option, taking the hassle out of managing your employee data.
WaypointHR On-Demand hosted data option is a cost effective option for employers wishing to dispense with the need to install and manage software on their own servers.
Taking advantage of our inexpensive hosted data option also gives you the added reassurance that your data is safe and secure, as all your employee data is stored in our secure data centre, on our servers and can only be accessessed by individuals you assign access rights to.
Accessing and viewing your data is easy, you just need a web browser (Internet Explorer version 6 or 7, or Firefox version 2 or 3).
WaypointHR On-Demand includes:
- Daily data backups
- Employee and company data storage on our servers
- Records held in our secure data centre
- Access to WaypointHR via a web browser of your choice
- Secure access to WaypointHR using our SSL certified website
- Email support from our IT help team
- Data securely held at our off-site facility
- Automatic software upgrade and updates
WaypointHR On-Demand also provides users with the security and reassurance that their confidential company employee records are security held off-site (essential for disaster recovery planning).
Using WaypointHR On-Demand means:
