Because WaypointHR is opensource we do not charge users for upgrades or updates to our software.
Users of WaypointHR Free
If you install our free version of WaypointHR (WaypointHR Free) on your own server, you will need to regularly check our website for upgrade and update annoucements.
You will also need to download and install any new software versions of WaypointHR Free on your own in-house server.
Users of WaypointHR On-Demand
If you user of WaypointHR On-Demand our hosted data version of WaypointHR, upgrades and updates are made automatically to our software.
This means you do not need to check for or download any software updates as our online HRIS system is always kept up to date with the latest version of WaypointHR.
We also schedule implementation of software upgrades and updates at times most convenient for end users, thus limiting the amount of disruption incurred by end users of WaypointHR On-Demand hosted data service.
