To use our free version of WaypointHR you will need MySQL and PHP
If you have your own in-house company server and you want to download, install and use our free version of WaypointHR your server will need to be running an operating system that supports both MySQL and PHP.
Your web server will need to have the following versions installed:
- MYSQL
MySQL is a powerful relational database which WaypointHR uses as its database engine to store employee records.
- PHP
PHP is a server programme language. Your web server will need to be running PHP version 4.3.1 or higher in order for WaypointHR to work.
Both MySQL and PHP are freely available for download and install on your server. Both MySQL and PHP are also available separately or as a joint download and configured to work together.
Both MySQL and PHP are required when using our free version of WaypointHR on your own in-house server.
(MySQL and PHP are not required for WaypointHR On-Demand, our hosted data version.)
